Scott is a native northern Californian who grew up in Sonoma and Mendocino counties. He has been practicing law since 1998. Prior to law school, he graduated with highest honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where he received dual bachelor's degrees in Communications and Environmental Studies.
Before focusing his legal practice on probate, wills and trusts, and elder and family services, Scott practiced environmental mediation for nearly 10 years. A former nuclear chemist in the United States Navy, and a one-time rodeo cowboy, Scott currently leads law offices in Santa Rosa and Ukiah.
